I love it when I find unusual wedding venues, especially when they are as beautiful as this one.
A few weeks ago I went up to visit Sally at the Yorkshire Suclpture Park (YSP) to have a look round and get to know a bit more about this amazing venue. (a big thanks to Lee at Lee Allen Photography for the images)

As a wedding planner I have to admit that sometimes the hardest thing is convincing a couple that they need a wedding planner.
In my experience the most popular service we offer is On the day Co-ordination or Wedding Day Management. Those brides and grooms who have used the service will swear by it and many couples who haven’t wished they did.
So when I came across this Discussion on Linked in I had to share some of the industry professionals thoughts on the benefits of hiring a planner for help with On the day co-ordination.

A couple of months back I received an email from Rachel McKenna the owner of Love Story Stationery.
Now I have to admit I get a huge amount of emails on a daily basis from a number of different suppliers, but Rachel’s stood out because of the standard fo her work and her original idea.
After a bit of a chat she sent me over some samples, and I agreed to meet up with her at the Tatton Wedding Show in January.
Rachel’s work is beautiful, contemporary and completely unique, making the stationary completely personal to you in many ways. Tacking pictures of you and incorporating them into the design, tacking a special location as the theme, photographs of guests to incorporate into place names or even telling the story of your proposal through the stationery………..the possibilities are endless.
Rachel says about her work:
”We are dedicated to providing bespoke, contemporary design, our philosophy is to ensure that choosing and designing wedding stationery is an experience to remember. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service from start to finish.
Love Story has been borne out of a love of contemporary design, a penchant for romance and the desire to offer the style conscious bride and groom something a little bit different.
Designs in our Ready to Wear Collection can be tailored to tie in to individual themes and perfectly share a couple’s own love story. For those who prefer to indulge in our Couture Experience we offer a truly bespoke service, designing unique stationary from scratch.”

Thursday 28th January saw the launch night of ‘Made in Sheffield’ Magazine which was held upstairs at The Milestone
Boho Events loves getting involved with all sorts of event planning, especially when it’s to help support local business, so when Kym Hall the brain child behind ‘Made in Sheffield’ magazine, asked me to help her plan and organise the event, I was more than happy to help.

I Have a great job, and the best bit is being able to share in peoples wonderful wedding days! It’s so gratifying building up a great relationship with the bride and groom, knowing that I have played a part in making their special day, more special and less stressful.
On December 29th I was luckily enough to work with Jo and Peacey who got married in Derby.
The ceremony was held at Derby Registry Office with the reception upstairs at Fat Cats which has recently undergone a big renervation.
I was booked by Jo and Peacy for the Boho On the day co-ordination.

Wedding Dress shopping is one of my favourite bits of the whole planning process; every girl loves to play dress up, right? Well some of us do, while others find the whole experience completely stressful, so much emphasise has been put on finding the perfect dress that it can be very daunting!
By following these simple bits of Boho advice the whole process should be made a lot easier for you. Read the rest of this entry »
